Faculty of Engineering Organizes “Engineering Day for Children” as Part of Its Community Engagement Role

As part of its community engagement role, the Faculty of Engineering – Benha University organized the event “Engineering Day for Children”, coinciding with the International Book Fair and the mid-year vacation, with the aim of promoting engineering awareness and fostering creativity among children.
The event was held under the patronage of
Prof. Dr. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and
Prof. Dr. Zeinab Faisal Abdelkader, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering,
in cooperation with the Arch kids Lab and Engineer Mohamed Saad.
The event featured interactive engineering activities, educational games, and inspiring stories designed to simplify engineering concepts, as well as the launch of the first issue of the children’s educational story series,
“Mohandesman… The First Superhero Engineer.”
The Faculty of Engineering – Benha University reaffirms its commitment to community service, innovative education, and building the skills and awareness of future generations.

The Benha University Medical & Laboratory Devices Incubator announces the launch of the
✨ Second Incubation Cycle ✨
in collaboration with the Academy of Scientific Research & Technology (ASRT) through the “Enteleq” Program for Supporting Technological Incubators.
This incubation call aims to support promising and innovative ideas that have the potential to be transformed into startup companies in the fields of manufacturing and development of medical and laboratory devices, reaffirming the incubator’s commitment to creating a supportive ecosystem for innovators and young researchers.

 Incubation Program Phases
According to Dr. Khaled El-Sayed, Executive Director of the Incubator, the incubation program consists of several integrated phases as follows:
Phase 1: Creative Bootcamp
This phase focuses on training participants on:
Fundamentals of entrepreneurship
Creative ideation techniques
Aligning ideas with market needs


Phase 2: Pre-Incubation
Targeting early-stage startups at the idea level, providing:
Support in developing the business model and prototype
Technical and financial support up to 20,000 EGP


Phase 3: Incubation
Targeting startups with an initial prototype, aiming to:
Transform prototypes into market-ready commercial products
Provide technical and financial support up to 200,000 EGP
Throughout all phases, participants receive:
Access to specialized laboratory facilities
Mentorship and consultancy in biomedical engineering
Business development and marketing support
