Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, Benha University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches' Affairs pursued at the Faculty of Engineering in Benha one of the research projects funding by the University and aiming to produce renewable energy.
El Gizawy said that research project aims to produce hybrid electric power units from solar and wind energies that can be used in tourist villages on the northern coast or on the Red Sea coast.

The Faculty and Leadership Development Center "FLDC" at Benha University has held a workshop for faculty members about the scientific research outputs marketing withing the training programs provided by the Center during current August. Prof. Dr. Nasser El Gizawy, the University Vice-president for Post Graduate Studies and Researches ' Affairs said that the workshop discussed the scientific research outputs marketing and the role of technology valleys, technological incubators and the startup companies in achieving the knowledge economy by converting creative ideas into wealth in the light of the incentives law for science, technology and innovation.

Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Mustafa Abdel-Ghaffar inaugurated the pavilion of Benha University on the sidelines of the first international forum for higher education and scientific research between the present and the future under the initiative of "study in Egypt." This came in the presence of Dr. Jamal Al- Banha, Dr. Hussein Al-Maghraby, Vice President for Education and Student Affairs, and Dr. Nasser Al-Jizawi, Supervisor of the University's Graduate Studies Sector. The forum will be held under the patronage of the President of the Republic in the new administrative capital from April 4 to 6, coinciding with the announcement by the President of the Republic in 2019 «Year of Education», and coincides with the assumption of the presidency of the African Union.

Dr. Ashraf El Shihy, the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research and Dr. Ashraf Hatem, the Secretary General of the Supreme Council of Universities in addition to some presidents of Egyptian universities have participated in the events of the Ministries of Higher Education Forum in London.

 In the frame of the State’s keenness to confirm that the scientific research must be one of the most important components of the Egyptian national security for realizing achievements in the third millennium, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research has put the National Strategy for Science, Technology and Innovation (STI-EGY 2030). 

The Egyptian Information Telecommunications, Electronics & Software Alliance (Eitesal) calls for a meeting with the member companies to study the cooperation between the industry and the professors of the universities and the scientific research to provide new products and develop research ideas that may be transformed to innovated products by industry. The Center of Information and Research Services in Benha University, the Faculty of Science and the Ethics Committee of Using the Experimental Animals at the Faculty of Science - Cairo University have organized a workshop on “Ethics of Using the Experimental Animals in Scientific Research” under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University.
