Benha University has participated in an international workshop about the National Qualifications Framework «NQF» which organized by the National Authority for Quality Assurance and Accreditation of Education «NAQAAE» at Hilton Ramses Hotel, Cairo in the duration from Sunday, 15/05/2016 to Monday, 16/05/2016.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Ghazy M.R. Assassa, the Advisor to the University President for Information Technology and the University CIO; and Prof. Dr. Hanan El Tobgy, the Quality Expert in the Faculty of Engineering at Shubra.

Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students' Affairs met Mr. Jamil Ezzo, the Director General of ICDL Arabia in the Middle East to discuss the cooperation ways between the two sides.
Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa confirmed during the meeting the importance of cooperation between the University and ICDL which contributes in giving the University students and staff ICDL to qualify for dealing with the applied software. 

Under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University; the University has participated in the 6th QS Middle East and Africa Professional Leaders in Education Conference and Exhibition “QS-MAPLE” which organized by the United Arab Emirates University (UAEU) with cooperation of QS in the duration from May 10 to 12, 2016 in AL Ain. 

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has received a delegation headed by Dr. Mayumi Terrano, the President of the Japanese International Cooperation Agency “JICA” in the presence of Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and Environment Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. Sameh Nada, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Benha.

Benha University has participated in the European Standards and Guidelines (ESG) Conference 2016 which held in Vienna, Austria on Monday, 09/05/2016 and Tuesday, 10/05/2016.The Conference has been organized by the European Association of Institutions in Higher Education “EURASHE” in the presence of Prof. Michal Karpisck, the Secretary General of the Association.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University has been represented by Prof. Dr. Ghazy M.R. Assassa, the Advisor to the University President for Information Technology and THE University CIO.

In cooperation with the British Cultural Council, the Scientific Researches Fund in Benha University organized a workshop on “How to apply for Projects financed by Newton/Moshraffa Fund” under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs.In cooperation with the British Cultural Council, the Scientific Researches Fund in Benha University organized a workshop on “How to apply for Projects financed by Newton/Moshraffa Fund” under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs.

Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the President of Benha University has opened the Annual Scientific Conference of the Faculty of Agriculture in Moshtohor under the title of” Agriculture in Egypt and modern challenges” on Monday, 09/05/2016.
In this respect, the speakers of the Conference have handled the plans of agricultural development in Egypt in the light of the national project to reclaim one and half million feddans.

With coordination of the Student Unions of Universities, Benha University has won 6 medals in Ain Shams University Forum for the People with Special Needs under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs.

A delegation from Benha University included Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the University Vice-president for Community Service and environment Development Affairs and Prof. Dr. El Sayed Foda, the Dean of the Faculty of Law participated in the International Exhibition on Higher Education 2016 in the Sultanate of Oman.
It is worth mentioning that Benha University pavilion attracted students of postgraduate studies in the disciplines of law, engineering, information technology, business administration, Arabic, human resources, and veterinary medicine.

Benha University has participated by a delegation from the faculty of education in the events of the 5th Scientific and 3rd International Conference organized by the faculty of education, Port Said University under the title of “Egyptian school in the 21th century in the light of global trends for education”.
In the same context, Dr. Alaa Saad El Din, the Professor at the faculty of education and the director of FLDC, Benha University said the faculty has participated by a scientific research under the title of “Science and Technology Excellence Schools: Opportunities and Challenges”.
