Prof. Dr. Maher Hasab El Naby Khalil, the Advisor to Benha University President for Scientific Research and the Supervisor of the Scientific Research Fund said that a workshop under the title of “Supporting the Research Projects of Young Researchers and Its Output on Benha University” will be held on Tuesday, 19/01/2016 at the Faculty of Engineering in Shubra under the auspices of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President; Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, the University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches’ Affairs; and Prof. Dr. El Sayed El Kady, the Faculty Dean

Benha University mourned with grief the death of the Egyptian Nobel Laureate Ahmed Zewail. Prof. Dr. Gamal Ismail, the Acting President of Benha University stated that the entire world is grieved over losing one of the hard-working pioneering scientists who left the humanity a huge heritage of scientific discovers and researches.

Dr. Reda Farahat, the Governor of Qalyoubia and Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students’ Affairs has inspected the Surgery Building at the University Hospital in addition to the Department Reception and Emergency after its renewing by providing the latest therapeutic devices.

Prof. Dr. Hesham Abu El Enin, Benha University Vice-president for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs stated that a delegation from the University particulates in Jordan International Exhibition and Forum of Higher Education in Amman. It is worth mentioning that the delegation includes Dr. Mahmoud Iraqy, the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture; Dr. Hesham El Batsh, the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Engineering in Benha for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs; and Dr. Mahmoud Basyouny, the Vice-dean of the Faculty of Commerce for Postgraduate Studies and Researches' Affairs.

Dr. Gamal Sousa, the General Supervisor of Benha University Hostels stated that the main water lines will be changed on expense of the University to provide the University Hostel in Kafr Saad and faculties of law, education, and nursing in coordination with Water and Water Waste Company and the University engineering management under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Ali Shams El Din, the University President and Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the University Vice-president for Education and Students' Affairs. 

Prof. Dr. Soliman Mustafa, the Vice-president of Benha University for Education and Students' Affairs opened a student positive initiative aiming to qualify students for the labor market. During the opening he confirmed that the University has occupied advanced places among the Egyptian universities.

In the frame of contribution in developing the higher education, Benha University hosts Dr. John Cavanaugh, the President and CEO of the Consortium of Universities of the Washington Metropolitan Area to discuss the challenges facing higher education institutes on Wednesday, 24/02/2016 at the University Celebrations Hall.
