✨Faculty Council Meeting ✨ 
The Faculty Council meeting No. (645) was held on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, under the chairmanship of Prof. Dr. Zeinab Faisal Abdelkader, Dean of the Faculty, and in the presence of the Vice Deans, Heads of Academic Departments, and Council members.
Her Excellency opened the session by welcoming all attendees, wishing them continued success, and extending her congratulations on the occasion of the upcoming Eid Al-Fitr, wishing everyone prosperity and blessings.
The Council commenced its proceedings by approving the minutes of the previous meeting, followed by discussing a number of important topics across various sectors, including:
Education and Student Affairs, and matters related to the educational process and study regularity.
 Faculty Members and Their Assistants Affairs, including appointments, promotions, secondments, and leaves.
 Postgraduate Studies and Cultural Relations, along with the follow-up of relevant committees’ work.
 General Affairs, including facilities, laboratories, and libraries.
The Council also discussed a number of emerging issues, reflecting the Faculty’s commitment to supporting the educational and research processes and enhancing institutional performance.
 This comes in line with the Faculty’s continuous efforts to develop the academic and administrative system in accordance with its vision and mission.

Celebrating Institutional Excellence and Achievement at the Faculty of Engineering
Under the patronage of Prof. Nasser El-Gizawy, President of Benha University, and Prof. Zeinab Feisal Abdelkader, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, and in the presence of Prof. Ayman Abdelhamid, Vice Dean for Community Service and Environmental Development, and Prof. El-Sayed Ali Fouad, Former Dean of the Faculty, the Faculty of Engineering organized the “Institutional Excellence and Achievement Celebration” to honor distinguished members of the faculty community in recognition of their sincere efforts and outstanding accomplishments.
During the ceremony, the Faculty honored several groups and initiatives, including:
Academic programs that obtained quality assurance and accreditation certificates
The Institutional Excellence Team, on the occasion of achieving second place at the university level
Organizers and contributors to the “Made in Benha Engineering” initiative
Coordinators, trainers, and participants involved in training and capacity-building activities
Distinguished contributors in academic advising, psychological support, and the Ibn Al-Haytham system
Work teams that contributed to organizing and ensuring the success of the Second Scientific Conference of the Faculty
The editorial team of the Faculty Journal of Engineering Sciences and Technology
And all those whose efforts contributed to enhancing the Faculty’s achievements and reputation
The Faculty administration affirmed that this recognition reflects its belief that institutional excellence is the result of collective effort and integration of roles, and that appreciating such efforts serves as a true motivation for continued excellence and dedication.
